Sugar Blossom Cakes co. has been baking and creating cakes and desserts for over 10 years creating modern, contemporary, bespoke designs.
In 2010 Anne-Louise began making cakes and bakes for family and friends and with the help of her partner Adam, they have turned a small 'word of mouth' start up into a creative successful business.
Anne-Louise didn’t start out as a baker but with a formal background in Art & Design from Hertfordshire University. After graduating she decided to travel for a number of years (quite a few!), then fell into a different career path in recruitment until she was made redundant in 2008.
It didn’t seem like it at the time, but this was the best thing that could have happened.
Always with a passion for cooking and baking, starting the business finally allowed Anne-Louise to do something she truly loved, making bespoke cakes; and giving her a creative outlet for the first time since University.
Now, 12 years down the line, Anne-Louise gets to spend her days designing, baking and sculpting something that is unique to each customer. With always one aim in mind, to create modern contemporary designs for all styles of wedding and events, whether that is romantic, classic or rustic or just a bit bonkers!
